DEMO & BIKE TECHS
Here’s how it works:
- Boo Bicycles or Parlee Cycles will get you fitted on one of their bikes (we expect to add more demo partners in the coming months). The next day, you’ll ride on the new demo bike while they transport your bike to the next host community.
- Each day of the Tour (starting on Friday, 9/15), you may visit the Demo area to reserve your bicycle or other bike products.
- After enjoying a Boo or Parlee bicycle for the day, you’ll return it to the Demo area.
Demo Sponsors will require a valid driver’s license and credit card at sign up. If you are a minor, you will have to have a legal guardian present in order to be eligible. For more information on Boo Bicycles visit boobicycles.com, Parlee Cycles parleecycles.com or Yakima visit yakima.com.
Pedal The Plains is a fully supported tour. Bike technicians will be available to assist you at aid stations should you have mechanical difficulties along the way. At a minimum however, you should carry and know how to use equipment to patch and change your tires. A special thanks to the following bike shop partners for their support:
