Pedal The Plains is Colorado’s end-of-season cycling bash, capping off our world-class cycling event calendar. Ideal for riders of all speeds and ages, cyclists may choose one of three ways to “Pedal The Plains”; a multi-day tour, century ride or family fun ride. In 2013, participants in this second annual bicycle event will discover the charming towns of Eads, Lamar and La Junta as well as the rolling plains between them! With barn dances, barbecues, and on-route tours of working farms and historic frontier battlegrounds, Pedal The Plains will be a true two-wheeled celebration of Colorado’s Eastern Plains. Proud to be a community-oriented event, proceeds from Pedal The Plains will benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation as well as Future Farmers of America and 4-H. Saddle up!
