Family Fun Ride * Pedal The Parks

For those who prefer a cowboy costume over spandex, a cruiser bike over a road bike, or hot apple cider over Skratch Mix, this is the bike ride for you. Participants of the Family Fun Ride will begin with a pancake breakfast and then set off for a leisurely 6-mile trip around Sterling showcasing four of the town’s beautiful and interactive parks. Along the route, participants will spot two very unique bike racks, which were created during the 2014 Pedal The Plains Community Art Project. The ride will begin and end at the Logan County Court House Square where entertainment for the Sugar Beet Days will be taking place.  Discover the farms and landscape of the Eastern Plains and cheer on your family as they cross the finish line. Prizes will be awarded to the best costume and most creative bike.
