We are proud to partner once again with Cannondale as our Official Demo Partner for Pedal The Plains and we’re happy to announce the addition of DT Swiss as our wheel partner. You’ll have an opportunity to test ride a new bicycle courteous of Cannondale each day of the ride or wheels by DT Swiss. Bicycles and wheels will be allocated on a first come first served basis each day.
Here’s how it works:
- Each day of the Tour (starting on Friday, 9/20) you can visit the demo area to reserve your ride.
- If it’s Cannondale, they’ll select a bike that fits you, adjust the saddle height, put your pedals on the bike and send you on your way! The next day you’ll ride the demo bike while they transfer your bike.
- If it’s DT Swiss, they’ll remove your wheels and install a set of demo wheels. The next day, you’ll ride on the new demo wheels while they transport yours.
- After enjoying a demo bike or set of wheels for the day, you’ll return it to the demo area.
Cannondale and DT Swiss will require a valid driver’s license and credit card at sign up. If you are a minor you will have to have a legal guardian present in order to be eligible.
Pedal The Plains is a fully supported tour. Bike technicians will be available to assist cyclists at aid stations should they have mechanical difficulties along the way. At a minimum however, riders should carry and know how to use equipment to patch and change their tires. A special thanks to the following bike shop partners for their support:
