The Kersey Pedal the Plains Committee is seeking request for proposals from nonprofits to host one or both days’ worth of meals for the bike ride Sept. 15-17.
Meals must be sourced locally and will be served Sept. 15 and Sept. 17. Nonprofits located in Kersey, or serving the Kersey community, will be given preference. Nonprofits serving Weld County will get second preference. Nonprofits may also collaborate, according to a release from the committee, and seed money will be given to help the cause.
The request for proposal is available on the town of Kersey website or Facebook page. Applications are due June 30. Send applications to Jay Cochran at jcochran@kerseygov.com.
