I just bought my first pair of biking shorts (got some Cannondale’s on the cheap, of course, thanks to Matthew searching and finding them on Nashbar!). They’re so much more comfortable than the short running spandex I used to ride in, as they prevent my bare legs from rubbing on the bike seat while pedaling – I definitely recommend getting legit biking shorts for the race!
Now that we’re all geared up and the weather has been beautiful (as always, in Denver), Matthew and I have been biking as much as we can – mostly on the weekends, due to work taking up our week days. The rides can be challenging – like this one from Johnson Habitat Park, along the South Platte River Trail to Bear Creek Lake – but they’re always worth these amazing views!
