Colorado 4-H Foundation

In addition to event proceeds going to The Denver Post Community Foundation, two non-profits that serve the Eastern Plains have been selected to each receive a $7,000 grant. It is an honor to present the Colorado 4-H Foundation with this annual grant. The funds will support programs, scholarships and volunteer development for 4-H programs in this year’s event host communities of Baca and Prowers counties.

Where will they be at Pedal the Plains:

The Colorado 4-H Foundation is pleased to be able to staff the aid stations throughout the entire route and look forward to seeing the riders each day. The foundatin director, Rochelle Platter, and the 4-H state officers will be at the Thursday night opening ceremony; please stop by and say hi!

Rochelle will also be driving the 2019 Ford F-150 truck that is the Grand Prize for the statewide raffle in support of the 4-H Foundation. The winner will be drawn and announced on Saturday night of Pedal the Plains. There will be plenty of time throughout the event to buy raffle tickets from the 4-H youth who will be selling tickets at the aid stations.
